According to information from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Postal Administration, since the beginning of this year, postal management departments have anchored themselves to the functional positioning of the Inner Mongolia Pilot Free Trade Zone. Leveraging the locational and policy advantages of border ports, they have continued to consolidate the cross-border delivery capacity of Manzhouli and Erenhot ports, improved customs clearance models, business formats, and market layouts, strengthened port-based cross-border logistics support, empowered the pilot free trade zone to enhance quality and efficiency, and supported the development of the northward opening corridor.

Monitoring data from the State Post Bureau shows that the Erenhot International Mail Exchange Bureau (Exchange Station) has consistently ranked among the top in the country in terms of business processing volume this year, becoming a landmark achievement of Inner Mongolia's postal and express delivery services in supporting the construction of the pilot free trade zone and facilitating the northward opening corridor. Relying on this port hub advantage, Inner Mongolia has continuously expanded its cross-border postal route network and amplified the corridor's辐射 effects.

By coordinating and optimizing postal route layouts and securing support from higher-level postal resources, the frequency and transport efficiency of postal routes from Erenhot Port to Russia have been significantly improved. Currently, on the basis of the existing two international land postal routes to Ulaanbaatar and Moscow, two new international land postal routes have been added in the directions of Siberia and Kazan. The "Erenhot—Mongolia—Russia" China-Russia land transport line and the Erenhot—Belarus land transport commercial line have been successively opened, further extending the reach of cross-border delivery services to the European hinterland.

Meanwhile, the customs clearance supervision process for international express shipments has been continuously optimized. Through coordination between postal management departments and customs authorities, Manzhouli has achieved full coverage of four types of cross-border e-commerce supervision models: 1210 bonded import, 9610 retail import and export, 9710 B2B direct export, and 9810 overseas warehouse export, comprehensively enhancing the port's customs clearance adaptability and business format carrying capacity. Leveraging the clustering advantages of the pilot free trade zone platform, the region currently has more than 600 registered cross-border e-commerce operating entities, and the 28,000-square-meter cross-border e-commerce industrial park has nearly 300 resident merchants. The improvement of logistics corridors has driven the accelerated online transformation of traditional foreign trade, effectively addressing the shortcomings of local cross-border delivery entities.

At present, Inner Mongolia's postal management departments are actively guiding postal and express delivery enterprises to fully grasp and make good use of relevant policies of the pilot free trade zone, promoting the coordinated development of international delivery and cross-border e-commerce. They continue to amplify the demonstration effect of the Erenhot Exchange Bureau's leading business performance, promote port hub quality improvement, postal route network expansion, and industrial ecosystem cultivation. By deepening the integrated development model of "cross-border delivery + cross-border e-commerce + specialty industries" and building an international delivery service system that connects internal and external networks with safety and efficiency, Inner Mongolia is continuously strengthening its logistics support for northward opening.
