WUXI LEAD Shareholder Transfers HK$762 Million Worth of Shares from HSBC to Citibank

A recent disclosure from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange shows that on February 20, a shareholder of WUXI LEAD (00470) transferred shares from Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation to Citibank. The transferred shares had a market value of HK$762 million, accounting for 15.39% of the company's issued share capital.

WUXI LEAD was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on February 11. According to the company's announcement, the shares were priced at HK$45.8 per share, with a total of 108 million shares issued. Each board lot consists of 100 shares, and the net proceeds from the offering amounted to approximately HK$4.796 billion.

The company's prospectus indicates that the manufacturing equipment and solutions provided by WUXI LEAD are widely used across multiple sectors, including lithium-ion batteries, photovoltaic cells, computers, communication and consumer electronics (3C) manufacturing, smart logistics, hydrogen production and fuel cell manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, and laser precision processing.
