Chinney Investments, Limited (Stock Code: 216) announced that, effective 1 February 2026, Mr. Winfred Wai-Lap Fan will be re-designated from Independent Non-Executive Director to Executive Director and Finance Director. According to the announcement, Mr. Fan had served as an Independent Non-Executive Director since 2019 and brings over a decade of senior management and advisory experience across technology, manufacturing, real estate, and retail sectors in the Australia and New Zealand and Asia-Pacific region.

Mr. Fan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Monash University in Melbourne, is a Chartered Accountant, and is a member of both the Chartered Accountants Australia and CPA Australia. Under his new service agreement, he will hold office for an initial term of three years starting 1 February 2026, subject to retirement by rotation and re-election at the annual general meeting. He will receive remuneration from the Group for his role as Executive Director and Finance Director, as approved by the Board with reference to his qualifications, responsibilities, and market conditions.

In conjunction with the re-designation, Mr. Fan will relinquish his positions as chairman of each of the Remuneration Committee and Audit Committee, and as a member of the Nomination Committee, all effective 1 February 2026. The announcement highlights that he will be succeeded in these roles by Independent Non-Executive Director, Mr. Stephen Henry Chu, who has been appointed chairman of the Remuneration Committee and Audit Committee, as well as member of the Nomination Committee.
