ICBC President Liu Jun Visits China Reinsurance Group

On December 26, Liu Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), held a working meeting in Beijing with Zhuang Ganzhi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Reinsurance (Group) Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "China Re"). Also attending the meeting were Zhao Guide, ICBC Party Committee Member and Vice President, and Zhu Xiaoyun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China Re.

ICBC and China Re are each other's important strategic partners and have achieved a series of practical results in serving the real economy, preventing financial risks, and strengthening integrated banking and insurance services. ICBC will fully leverage its comprehensive and international financial service advantages to strengthen innovation with China Re in areas such as tech finance, climate risk management, financial leasing insurance, and high-quality co-construction of the Belt and Road Initiative. The bank will also deepen cooperation in fund settlement, asset custody, and cross-border finance to provide comprehensive financial solutions. By joining hands with China Re to excel in the "Five Key Areas of Finance," ICBC will contribute greater strength to building a nation with a strong financial sector.
