Recently, the prestigious technology event GITEX GLOBAL 2025 concluded successfully at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates. The event featured over 6,800 tech companies from more than 180 countries, showcasing breakthroughs and commercial achievements in the field of artificial intelligence. During the event, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman engaged in a deep discussion with G42 Group CEO Peng Xiao on the topic of "From AI Applications to AI Native Society." Altman pointed out that the cost of artificial intelligence will converge with energy costs, granting the energy-rich Middle East a unique advantage in the AI era.

Additionally, UAE telecom operator Du announced the launch of its AI Park project at the exhibition, aiming to establish a data center with a total capacity of 1 gigawatt, which will support infrastructure for sovereign AI applications, further consolidating the Middle East's strategic positioning in the AI sector. Amid the AI development wave in the Middle East, Chinese enterprises are becoming significant forces in driving regional digital transformation. According to a report by the UAE China Chamber of Commerce, there are currently over 6,000 Chinese companies operating in the UAE, with business activities expanding from traditional sectors such as energy, ports, and building materials to emerging fields like finance, information technology, renewable energy, and e-commerce. This shift showcases their remarkable adaptability and innovative vitality.

Chinese tech companies shone particularly bright at GITEX, covering a wide range of cutting-edge fields such as AI infrastructure, digital creative software, and intelligent solutions. Huawei, as a platinum sponsor of the event, emphasized its collaboration with local operators on 5G-A innovative applications and showcased its latest achievements in AI-driven networks, cloud technology, data storage, and cybersecurity, offering comprehensive solution support for smart cities and intelligent transport systems. Huawei's GovTech 1.0 framework, centered on application intelligence, data coordination, platform standardization, and network broadband enhancement, aims to promote government modernization and facilitate AI technology across various industries.

Representing "domestic AI + creative software," Wondershare Technology Group Co., Ltd. highlighted its theme "More AI, More Possibilities," debuting its AIGC video creation platform ToMoviee AI in the Middle East market. In the VBench-2.0 ranking of generative video models, ToMoviee 2.0 AI achieved a global third-place score, illustrating the innovation strength of Chinese tech firms in vertical fields. Moreover, various digital creative software and innovative AI solutions, such as Wondershare PDFelement V12, were showcased, continuously assisting Middle Eastern enterprises and individuals in boosting office efficiency and accelerating digital transformation in emerging markets.

The H3C Group also presented flagship technologies, including the supernode product H3C UniPoD S80000, and several solutions aimed at data security, AI acceleration, and next-generation security interconnect, under their “AI in ALL” and “AI for ALL” strategies. Kingsoft Office signed a strategic cooperation with Oman Telecommunications during the exhibition to promote the WPS 365 international version to enterprise customers in Oman, enhancing the customer experience across various industries in Oman and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

The AI boom in the Middle East continues to gain momentum, becoming a hot spot for Chinese companies looking to expand abroad.
