Beijing has officially launched a call for applications to identify and cultivate artificial intelligence application service providers, following a recent directive from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The notice, circulated as MIIT Office Document No. 414 of 2026, has drawn significant attention across the technology and cloud computing sectors.

In accordance with the city's deployment plan for the AI service provider cultivation program, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology is now organizing the collection of submissions to build a resource pool of qualified AI application service providers. This initiative aims to support the growth of the sector by recognizing and backing companies that deliver AI solutions across various industries.

To assist member enterprises of the Zhongguancun Cloud Computing Industry Alliance that are part of the AI ecosystem, the alliance is forwarding the official notice to facilitate their participation in the application process. Companies with questions or those requiring support during the submission phase are encouraged to reach out to the alliance secretariat, which has opened a dedicated Q&A channel to address inquiries promptly.
