1957 & Co. (Hospitality) Limited issued a profit alert indicating an expected net loss of approximately HK$1.00 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026, versus a HK$2.60 million loss in the prior-year period, representing a 61.54% year-on-year reduction.

Management attributes the improved result chiefly to a rise in “other income, net”, driven by two non-recurring items: 1. Release of a HK$2.65 million deposit previously retained under a settlement agreement linked to the terminated transfer of the Akanoshou restaurant business in Causeway Bay. 2. Government grants of about HK$0.24 million received through the Innovation and Technology Commission’s Technology Voucher Programme during the period.

The financial figures are based on unaudited consolidated management accounts and may differ from the final interim results, which are scheduled for release in late August 2026. The board advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities.
