ComfortDelGro announces passing of director and updates board composition

ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited said on Apr, 27 2026 that Independent Non-Executive Director Professor Ooi Beng Chin passed away on Apr, 25 2026.

The company conveyed condolences to Professor Ooi’s family and noted his contributions during his tenure on the Board.

Following his passing, the Board, Board Risk Committee and Strategy & Investment Committee have been re-constituted. The Board now comprises: Mark Christopher Greaves (Chairman), Choi Shing Kwok (Deputy Chairman), Cheng Siak Kian, Russell Stephen Balding AO, Jessica Cheam, Susan Kong Yim Pui, Lee Jee Cheng Philip and Tan Peng Hoe, Steve.

Committee leadership and memberships were also updated. Key appointments include: • Audit Committee: Lee Jee Cheng Philip as Chairman, with Russell Stephen Balding AO and Jessica Cheam as members. • Board Risk Committee: Choi Shing Kwok as Chairman, with Jessica Cheam and Lee Jee Cheng Philip as members. • Nominating and Remuneration Committee: Mark Christopher Greaves as Chairman, joined by Choi Shing Kwok, Russell Stephen Balding AO, Susan Kong Yim Pui and Tan Peng Hoe, Steve. • Strategy & Investment Committee: Mark Christopher Greaves as Chairman, with Cheng Siak Kian, Choi Shing Kwok and Susan Kong Yim Pui as members. • Sustainability Committee: Jessica Cheam as Chair, with Cheng Siak Kian, Mark Christopher Greaves and Tan Peng Hoe, Steve as members.

ComfortDelGro said the changes take effect immediately.
