Want Want China Executes HKD 3.26 Million On-Market Buyback; 2.80 Million Shares Await Cancellation

Want Want China Holdings Limited disclosed on 03 July 2026 that it repurchased an additional 1.00 million ordinary shares on 03 July at prices ranging between HKD 3.25 and HKD 3.26 per share, for a total consideration of HKD 3.26 million.

Including the 1.80 million shares bought back on 02 July at a volume-weighted average price of HKD 3.1643, the company now holds 2.80 million shares pending cancellation. This tranche equates to approximately 0.02 % of the current issued share base of 11.80 billion shares, leaving the outstanding share count unchanged until the cancellations are processed.

The transactions form part of the repurchase mandate approved on 26 August 2025, which authorises Want Want China to buy back up to 1.18 billion shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate have reached 4.20 million shares, representing 0.04 % of the share capital as at the mandate date. A moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales remains in effect until 02 August 2026 under Hong Kong listing rules.
