据报道，SoFi计划进行15亿美元普通股的承销公开发行。公司表示将授予承销商高盛一个30天的选择权，可额外购买最多15%的发行股份。SoFi计划将所得款项净额用于一般公司用途，包括营运资金和其他业务机会。据知情人士透露，此次增发的股票价格区间为每股20.85美元至21.50美元，较周二收盘价22.40美元有高达6.9%的折价。
值得注意的是，这一消息发布之前，SoFi刚刚公布了超出预期的第二季度业绩报告。公司报告调整后净收入为8.58亿美元，超过分析师预期，同比增长44%。调整后每股收益为0.08美元，同样高于市场预期的0.06美元。尽管业绩亮眼，但大规模的股票发行计划引发了投资者对股权稀释的担忧，导致股价在盘前交易中大幅下跌。
