On August 19, Luo Yongho released the first episode of his video podcast "Luo Yongho's Crossroads," featuring a four-hour conversation with Li Auto CEO Li Xiang. In the interview, Li Xiang publicly shared his 25-year entrepreneurial journey for the first time, recalling key moments in his business ventures and emotionally discussing how Meituan founder Wang Xing provided crucial support during his most difficult times, describing Wang Xing as his "greatest benefactor" in his entrepreneurial history.

According to Li Xiang, during Li Auto's Series B funding round, Wang Xing and the Meituan team had proactively reached out multiple times, expressing interest in participating in the investment with generous terms. However, at that time, due to the company's planned cooperation with Didi and considering that Meituan was expanding into the ride-hailing business, Li Xiang's team ultimately declined Wang Xing's investment proposal.

By 2019, when Li Auto faced funding challenges, the visionary Wang Xing once again extended a helping hand, assisting Li Auto in overcoming its crisis. In August 2019, Li Auto completed a $530 million Series C funding round, with Wang Xing personally investing $285 million.

Li Xiang candidly admitted that he had nearly "resigned to fate" at that time, understanding that only with the help of benefactors could he overcome the difficulties. Li Xiang expressed deep gratitude for receiving assistance from someone he had previously rejected during his most desperate moments, making this relationship particularly meaningful and establishing Wang Xing as the most unforgettable benefactor in his entrepreneurial journey.
