ZIJIN MINING: BNP PARIBAS SA Acquires Shares, Long Position Rises to 9.17%

On September 23, 2026, BNP PARIBAS SA acquired 549.16 million shares of ZIJIN MINING (H shares) by way of taking a security interest in shares, resulting in a long position of 9.17%. Separately, the bank increased its short position to 240.74 million shares (4.02%) through borrowing shares under a securities lending agreement.

Prior to the acquisition, BNP PARIBAS SA's long position in ZIJIN MINING was 530.67 million shares, representing 8.86%; following the acquisition, the holding changed to 549.16 million shares, with the long position ratio rising to 9.17%. In parallel, the short position increased from 222.26 million shares (3.71%) to 240.74 million shares (4.02%).
