消息面上，MARA Holdings宣布已同意以15亿美元（含约7.85亿美元债务）的价格从FTAI基础设施公司手中收购Long Ridge Energy & Power。这笔交易标志着这家起源于比特币挖矿的公司向数字基础设施和能源公司战略转型的重要一步。收购的资产包括俄亥俄州汉尼拔一座505兆瓦的联合循环天然气发电厂及1600多英亩土地，MARA计划在此建设由该发电厂供电的数据中心。
该公司表示，此次收购预计将使其自有及直接运营的发电总装机容量提升约65%，而Long Ridge电力资产每年可产生约1.44亿美元的调整后收益，为数据中心项目开发提供即时现金流。MARA首席执行官指出，该地块已获批用于工业用途，且已吸引包括超大规模云服务商在内的潜在租户兴趣。此外，MARA同日宣布其首期人工智能及关键IT基础设施将于2027年上半年启动建设，现有200兆瓦电力容量将加速初始产能部署。
