葛景栋此次转任的广告业务部门与其过往工作经历密切相关。值得注意的是，微博最新业绩报告显示，2025年全年总营收达17.6亿美元（约合人民币125.76亿元），其中广告营收为15亿美元（约合人民币107.42亿元）。2025年归属于微博股东的净利润为4.49亿美元（约合人民币32.24亿元），同比增长49%。
数据显示，广告业务在微博总营收中占据重要比重。这表明葛景栋卸任高级副总裁后并未被边缘化，而是继续在核心业务部门担任重要角色。
