Graco Children's Products is recalling more than 5,000 infant car seats sold at Walmart and Target stores following a notice issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The recall involves the Graco SnugRide Turn and Slide infant car seat model. According to the recall notice from the U.S. Department of Transportation, the base lock hooks on these seats may cause the seat carrier to detach from the base under certain crash conditions, increasing the risk of injury to a child. The affected products, numbering over 5,000 units, were manufactured between December 1, 2025, and March 27, 2026.
