MORIMATSU INTL (02155) saw its shares surge more than 10% during the late trading session. At the time of writing, the stock was up 9.97% to HK$7.83, with a turnover of HK$66.07 million.

Public information indicates that MORIMATSU INTL is a global leader in modular factories. The company's order intake primarily originates from multiple industries including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, consumer goods, power batteries, oil & gas refining, and electronic chemicals. It has recently expanded into segments such as data centers, new energy, and semiconductors.

It is reported that the company has proposed that the year 2026 is expected to mark the beginning of its AIDC (Advanced Industrial Digital Construction) era, providing a new driver for performance. A previous research report from Huatai Securities stated that, looking ahead to 2026 and based solely on new order data secured in 2025, the company's profit is projected to achieve a year-on-year growth rate of 20%. Furthermore, considering potential additional order contributions from businesses such as concentrated factory construction by European and American pharmaceutical companies in the US post-Q2 2026, AIDC, and oil & gas photovoltaics, the report is optimistic about positive growth in new orders for 2026 and maintains a "Buy" rating.
