Archrock (AROC) shares plummeted 16.34% in after-hours trading following the release of its second quarter 2026 financial results, which fell short of Wall Street expectations across multiple key metrics.

The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.38, missing the analyst consensus estimate of $0.47 by 19.15% and declining from $0.39 per share in the same period last year. Quarterly revenue came in at $371.24 million, below the $391.63 million estimate and down 3.11% from the prior year. Adjusted EBITDA also missed expectations, coming in at $212.6 million versus the $221.9 million consensus estimate.

Adding to the downward pressure, Archrock tightened its full-year adjusted EBITDA guidance, citing near-term headwinds including lube oil costs and timing impacts. The company did reaffirm its 2026 growth capital expenditure outlook of $250 million to $275 million, but the earnings miss and cautious guidance overshadowed that commitment in after-hours trading.
