The sharp decline prompted NASDAQ to issue a volatility trading pause for the stock at 11:12 AM, just moments after the price movement occurred. This trading halt is a mechanism designed to calm markets during periods of extreme price swings.
The volatility follows DSC's IPO pricing of $17 per American depositary share, which raised approximately $51 million. The company, which provides AI application infrastructure for China's used car industry, began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol "DSC" on Thursday.
