China Everbright Water Limited (U9E.SGX) said on Jul, 14 2026 that it has completed the issuance of its 2026 first-tranche medium-term notes in China’s national interbank bond market.
The notes have a principal amount of RMB 1.5 billion, a tenor of five years and a coupon of 1.80%. They carry an issuer call option to adjust the coupon and an investor put option at the end of the third interest-bearing year.
Proceeds will be used to refinance existing bonds. Both the notes and the company received AAA credit ratings from Shanghai New Century Credit Rating & Investment Services.
Everbright Securities acted as sole lead underwriter and bookrunner, while Bank of China served as joint lead underwriter.
In Dec, 2024 the company obtained approval from China’s National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors to register up to RMB 8.0 billion of debt financing instruments, including super short-term commercial papers, short-term notes, medium-term notes, perpetual notes, asset-backed securities and green financing instruments.
