Shinelong Automotive Lightweight Application Limited released its 2025 Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Report, detailing performance for the year ended 31 December 2025 and unveiling medium-term sustainability targets through 2030.
Environmental Performance and Targets • Greenhouse gases: Total emissions reached 3,866.22 tonnes CO₂e, up 3.9 % year on year, while revenue-based intensity fell to 0.13 t CO₂e per RMB10,000—down from 0.16 in 2024, reflecting higher sales (RMB300.67 million, +26.5 %). • Energy: Consumption rose to 8,375.85 MWh (-278.57 kWh per RMB10,000 revenue versus 279.80), helped by energy-efficient machinery, LED lighting upgrades and a new rooftop photovoltaic installation. • Water: Usage declined 22.9 % to 16,337 m³; intensity improved to 0.54 m³ per RMB10,000 revenue from 0.89. • Waste: Non-hazardous waste grew to 676.76 tonnes (intensity 22.51 kg per RMB10,000 revenue) as production expanded; hazardous waste doubled to 14.02 tonnes. Oil-water separation and recycling programmes target further reduction. • Air pollutants: NOx, SOx and particulate emissions fell 21 – 30 % year on year.
New 2030 goals, benchmarked to 2025 baselines, commit to 2 % reductions in intensities of greenhouse-gas emissions, energy, water and waste generation.
Governance and Risk Oversight The Board holds ultimate responsibility for ESG strategy, supported by an ESG Committee and an operational Working Group. Climate-related transition and physical risks are assessed across short-, medium- and long-term horizons, with insurance, process optimisation and energy-efficiency investments cited as key mitigations.
Workforce Snapshot • Employees: 379 (80 % male; 59 % in production). • Turnover: 32 % overall; male 37 %, female 9 %. • Training: 83 % of staff received training, averaging 10.79 hours for men and 16.90 hours for women. • Safety: Six work-related injuries, 139 lost days; no fatalities. Annual health checks and fire-safety drills underpin occupational-health compliance.
Ethics and Supply Chain Six anti-corruption trainings were delivered; no corruption cases were recorded. Shinelong engaged 217 suppliers—51 % outside Jiangsu Province—and applies environmental and social risk assessments, prioritising local and eco-friendly vendors.
Community Engagement Employee volunteers (44 participants) undertook community clean-up drives; 13 staff members donated blood. Cash donations totalled RMB0.04 million, mainly for disaster relief and education projects.
Outlook Shinelong plans to deepen energy-efficiency upgrades, broaden low-carbon product offerings for new-energy vehicle clients and refine climate-scenario analysis as part of its pathway to the 2030 intensity-reduction targets.
