Ticketplus Ltd makes market debut on US stock exchange, shares drop over 15%

The company behind the newly listed stock, Ticketplus Ltd (TP.US), made its debut on the US stock market on Friday. As of the time of writing, the stock is trading more than 15% lower at $6.771 per share.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Santiago, Chile, Ticketplus Ltd is a technology company focused on the live entertainment industry in Latin America. The firm operates a proprietary, fully developed event management platform that provides a comprehensive suite of services for concerts, sports events, exhibitions, and other live activities. These services include event discovery, online ticketing, access management, payment processing, real-time data analytics, and post-event operational insights.

Currently, Ticketplus Ltd has expanded its operations to cover 11 countries, including Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, and Peru. Its client base includes event organizers, venue operators, sports organizations, and other ticketing companies. In recent years, the company has actively pursued international expansion and has enhanced its efficiency in ticketing operations and risk management by leveraging artificial intelligence automation technology.
