GuocoLand (Malaysia) Berhad said it terminated its Executive Share Scheme 2022 and Value Creation Incentive Plan on Jun, 03 2026, meeting a key condition for its planned privatisation via a selective capital reduction and repayment exercise under Section 116 of the Companies Act 2016.

The schemes were closed after disinterested shareholders approved the privatisation at an extraordinary general meeting on May, 29 2026. Maybank Investment Bank, acting for the board, confirmed there are no outstanding options or share grants under either plan.

The company will next file an application with the High Court to confirm the capital reduction required to complete the privatisation.
