On the morning of September 18, the provincial "AI + Manufacturing" on-site promotion conference unveiled the official list for the 2026 provincial artificial intelligence-enabled manufacturing pilot programs. Wuxing District has successfully secured a pilot designation for AI-enabled manufacturing with a focus on intelligent logistics equipment, standing as one of only 12 selections across the province and the sole recipient within the city.

Additionally, Dema Technology has been included in the provincial "AI + Manufacturing" pioneering scenario list. Wuxing is home to the nation's largest and most comprehensive intelligent logistics equipment industrial cluster, encompassing over 480 enterprises along the full supply chain with an industrial concentration rate exceeding 92%. The district has earned seven national and provincial honors, including recognition as one of the first national SME characteristic industrial clusters, a provincial "new star" industry cluster, and a provincial advanced manufacturing cluster brand.

Currently, the sector boasts 111 designated above-scale enterprises, achieving an output value of 14.06 billion yuan from January to August this year, reflecting a steady growth rate of 16.7%. Key products such as intelligent logistics systems, large and medium-sized crawler cranes, and intelligent shuttle vehicles hold the top market share nationwide. In recent years, Wuxing has deepened the integration of the digital and real economies, driving industrial transformation and upgrading through digitalization and intelligent renovation.

The district has cumulatively established one national-level excellence intelligent factory, five provincial-level future factories (pilot), and 28 provincial-level intelligent factories (digital workshops). Within the intelligent logistics equipment industry, digitalization level 2.0 coverage has surpassed 95%. To accelerate AI-enabled scenario applications, Wuxing adheres to a transformation path led by key enterprises, with tiered follow-up and full coverage, actively guiding leading backbone firms to explore applications in areas such as material identification, fault prediction, quality inspection, and route optimization.

Sany Equipment has developed an intelligent agent platform spanning 35 application scenarios, with its engineering machinery industry dataset selected for the province's first batch of high-quality industrial datasets in key sectors. Muxing Robot employs AI vision-based obstacle avoidance combined with autonomous navigation to enable grasping and sorting of irregular objects, boosting picking efficiency by 3 to 5 times. Looking ahead, Wuxing aims to establish itself as a highland for AI application enablement in the Yangtze River Delta, using "AI + Intelligent Logistics Equipment" as the entry point.

The district will accelerate the construction of both online and offline empowerment supply platforms, including the "model-data resonance" space and an AI enablement center. Through the integrated application of enterprise intelligence, product embodiment, and manufacturing servitization, Wuxing will focus on building innovation consortia, industry-wide knowledge datasets, high-value application scenarios, specialized knowledge datasets, and model intelligent agents. By progressively advancing scenario implementations, the district is committed to creating a replicable and scalable demonstration model for AI-enabled manufacturing.
