BASICSEMI Buys Back 50,000 H Shares for HKD 2.14 Million, Expanding Treasury Stock to 79,800 Shares

On 24 September 2026, Basic Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (BASICSEMI) repurchased 50,000 H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under its 28 August 2026 share-buyback mandate.

The shares were acquired at prices ranging between HKD 42.60 and HKD 43.30, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 42.90. Total consideration reached HKD 2.14 million.

Following the transaction, the company’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) declined to 287.45 million, down 0.017%. Treasury shares rose from 29,800 to 79,800. The repurchased shares are retained as treasury stock.

Since the approval of the mandate, BASICSEMI has bought back 79,800 shares, equal to 0.03% of the issued share capital on the mandate date, leaving ample capacity within the 28.75 million-share authorization. A 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales remains in place until 24 October 2026.

The company affirmed that all repurchases adhered to Hong Kong Stock Exchange Main Board Rule 10.06 and related provisions, with no material changes to the previously filed explanatory statement.
