Watts International Maritime Company Limited (2258) has announced that effective 1 December 2025, there is an appointment of a new executive director and the resignation of a non-executive director. According to the announcement, Ms. Wang Lifang has been appointed as an executive director and a member of the nomination committee, while Mr. Wang Shizhong has tendered his resignation as a non-executive director upon his retirement.
Ms. Wang, aged 42, commenced her career in August 2007. She joined one of the Group’s subsidiaries in May 2008 and assumed finance and management roles before being appointed general manager and legal representative at Watts Gallop Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. She holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering management from Tongji University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Open University of China. Under her service agreement, Ms. Wang will receive an annual salary of RMB350,000, and as of the announcement date, she owns 2,512,292 shares of the company (approximately 0.30% of the total issued shares).
Mr. Wang Shizhong, the controlling shareholder of the company and uncle of Ms. Wang, resigned as a non-executive director on reaching the age of retirement. The board expressed its appreciation for Mr. Wang’s significant contributions during his tenure. The company also confirmed that there are no disagreements with Mr. Wang and no matters relating to his resignation that need to be brought to the attention of shareholders or the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
