Prudential plc (K6S) said on Apr, 24 2026 that it will issue 5.72 million new ordinary shares in connection with the scrip dividend alternative for its 2025 second interim dividend of 18.89 US cents per share.

Shareholders needed to hold at least 74 ordinary shares as of Mar, 27 2026 to elect for the scrip option, which is available only on the Hong Kong line. Up to 345,912 of the new shares may be sold through a share-dealing facility arranged for United Kingdom investors who cannot provide Hong Kong settlement details.

Prudential stated that it plans to neutralise any minor dilution from the issuance through on-market share buybacks on the London Stock Exchange. The company will release further announcements regarding the admission of the new shares.
