Tanwan Inc. repurchases 20,000 shares; treasury stock rises to 16.29 million

Tanwan Inc., the Cayman-incorporated gaming company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, disclosed a minor share buyback in its Next Day Disclosure Return filed on 22 September 2026.

On 22 September 2026 the company repurchased 20,000 ordinary shares on the Exchange at prices ranging between HKD 9.60 and HKD 9.75, for a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 9.64 per share. The total consideration amounted to HKD 0.19 million.

Following the transaction, Tanwan’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) slipped from 518.17 million to 518.15 million, a marginal decline of 0.00%. Treasury shares increased to 16.29 million, while the company’s total issued share capital remained unchanged at 534.44 million shares.

The shares were repurchased under the general mandate approved by shareholders on 17 June 2026, which authorises the company to buy back up to 52.12 million shares. Including the latest transaction, Tanwan has repurchased 3.08 million shares to date, representing 0.59% of the issued share base at the time the mandate was granted. In line with listing rules, a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales now applies until 22 October 2026.
