WINSHINE SCI (00209) Raises Approximately HK$176.5 Million Net from Rights Issue

WINSHINE SCI (00209) announced that a total of 12 valid acceptances and applications for approximately 1.039 billion rights shares were received by the deadline of 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026. This figure represents about 79.92% of the total 1.3 billion rights shares available for subscription under the rights issue. Consequently, the rights issue was undersubscribed, with approximately 261 million rights shares not taken up, accounting for roughly 20.08% of the total shares offered. Due to the undersubscription and in accordance with the underwriting agreement, the underwriter procured subscribers for the entire unsubscribed portion of approximately 261 million rights shares. Following the procurement of subscribers by the underwriter, all approximately 1.3 billion rights shares available under the issue have been fully subscribed. The gross proceeds from the rights issue amount to approximately HK$182 million, while the net proceeds, after deducting underwriting commissions and all other related expenses, are estimated to be around HK$176.5 million.
