Guangdong Taienkang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (301263.SZ) has announced that its controlled subsidiary, Jiangsu Bochuangyuan Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd., has completed data collection for its Phase IIa clinical trial of the self-developed Class 1 innovative drug CKBA cream for rosacea. The preliminary analysis results indicate that 1.50% CKBA cream demonstrates favorable efficacy and safety in treating moderate-to-severe papulopustular rosacea. After 16 weeks of treatment, 60.00% (9/15) of subjects achieved an Investigator's Global Assessment (IGA) score of 0 or 1, with inflammatory lesion count (ILC) decreasing by 39.06 from baseline, representing a 76.40% reduction.
Notably, this Phase IIa trial enrolled subjects with relatively high baseline ILC and IGA scores, including a subgroup of severe patients, and all demonstrated positive short-term efficacy, promising long-term therapeutic potential, and excellent safety outcomes. These results provide strong evidence to support the advancement of subsequent Phase IIb/III clinical trials. Based on the encouraging preliminary Phase IIa data, the company has already initiated its Phase IIb trial ahead of schedule, with the first subject enrolled in early September 2026. The company plans to further accelerate the progress of the Phase IIb/III clinical program moving forward.
