European stocks opened higher collectively on Thursday, with the Stoxx Europe 600 index opening up 0.4%. The UK's FTSE 100 index opened up 0.2%, France's CAC 40 index opened up 0.2%, and Germany's DAX index opened up 0.9%. Additionally, Spain's IBEX 35 index opened up 0.7%, Switzerland's SMI index opened up 0.2%, and Italy's FTSE MIB index opened up 0.6%.

In terms of individual stocks, investors are calling for Spire Healthcare Group to explore a potential sale, with the company's shares rising 7%. Following reports of DWS Group selling its data center business, its stock price increased 1%. Italian fashion retailer OVS saw its shares climb 5.4% after releasing its first-half results.
