值得注意的是，这批车辆是特斯拉在尚未确定印度本土建厂计划前，为测试市场反应而专门引入的右舵车型。目前特斯拉正与印度政府就降低进口关税事宜进行新一轮谈判，但业内人士认为，在莫迪政府"印度制造"政策导向下，关税让步可能需以特斯拉承诺本土化生产为前提。
