当地时间7日，欧盟委员会负责贸易和经济安全等事务的委员谢夫乔维奇表示，如果与美国的关税谈判未能达成协议，欧盟将于8日公布下一阶段对美关税反制措施的细节。
谢夫乔维奇表示，目前谈判仍是优先选项，但欧盟不会不计代价地达成协议，欧盟不会“把鸡蛋放在一个篮子里”。
今年4月，欧盟投票通过首轮对美关税反制措施，拟对一系列美国产品征收最高25%关税。这些措施在美国宣布所谓“对等关税”90天暂缓期后，已被推迟至7月实施。
