Xiaohongshu Announces Major Organizational Overhaul with New AI Division and President Appointment

Xiaohongshu has issued an internal company-wide letter on April 30, outlining a new phase of organizational upgrades. The company will establish a first-level AI department named Dots, along with a corporate intelligence division, signaling increased investment in artificial intelligence from both product-technology and organizational perspectives.
Additionally, the company has appointed Conan as its new President. He will be responsible for fully integrating the three core business areas—community, e-commerce, and commercialization—as well as the company’s technical framework. Conan will report directly to CEO Seiya. Mulan will continue to serve as Chairperson of the Board.
