China Technology Industry Group Limited (“CT Ind Group”) has announced that the circular for its upcoming Annual General Meeting is now available in both English and Chinese on the HKEX website (www.hkexnews.hk) and the company’s website (www.chinatechindgroup.com).

• Transition to paperless communications – In line with the updated Listing Rules (Rule 2.07) that took effect on 31 December 2023, CT Ind Group has adopted electronic dissemination for all future corporate communications, covering directors’ reports, audited financial statements, interim reports, notices of meeting, listing documents, circulars and proxy forms. – Printed copies will no longer be dispatched by default. Both language versions will be accessible exclusively through the company’s and HKEX’s websites.

• Impact on non-registered shareholders – Holders whose shares are kept through banks, brokers, custodians or HKSCC Nominees must provide a functional email address to those intermediaries to receive electronic alerts when new documents are published. – Until an email address is on record, such shareholders will not receive publication notifications and must proactively check the two designated websites.

• Opt-in for printed copies – Shareholders who prefer hard-copy documents can request them free of charge by completing and returning the reply form to the Hong Kong share registrar, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited, or by emailing chinatechindgroup.ecom@computershare.com.hk.
