As the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays approach, Zhedong Town's Dongsa Village work team has taken proactive steps to expand sales channels for local specialty agricultural products and help residents steadily increase their incomes. Leveraging the resources of its affiliated organization, Pu'er Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the team carried out a "purchase instead of donation" consumption support campaign in Dongsa Village, connecting agricultural production with sales and injecting momentum into rural revitalization.

The campaign focused on local specialty agricultural products with a wide range of categories, including Dongsa Village's peanuts, honey, and polygonatum, as well as seasonal fruits such as golden passion fruit and late-maturing mangoes grown by farming households across Zhedong Town's villages. According to statistics, the campaign procured 650 units of agricultural products, with total consumption support amounting to 190,000 yuan. Through centralized procurement and direct-from-origin supply, the initiative effectively absorbed surplus agricultural products from farmers, resolved difficulties such as unsold goods and narrow sales channels, and turned local specialties into a source of income growth for residents.

Consumption support is a key measure for consolidating poverty alleviation achievements and promoting rural industrial revitalization, and a practical step to benefit farmers. In recent years, the Dongsa Village work team has leveraged the village's agricultural resource advantages, making consumption support a regular priority. The team has continuously built stable production-sales bridges and carried out purchase-instead-of-donation and buy-to-help initiatives, with results becoming increasingly evident. To date, Dongsa Village's cumulative consumption support sales have exceeded 1 million yuan, continuously activating the vitality of village-level industrial development.

The tangible results have won widespread recognition and praise from villagers. "The support cadres took the initiative to help us expand sales channels and sell our honey, truly solving our problems!" Dongsa Village residents said, praising the heartwarming consumption support measures. Repeated effective production-sales connections have not only broadened local agricultural product sales paths and resolved the worry of "growing well but unable to sell," but also greatly boosted villagers' confidence in developing specialty farming and breeding industries and achieving prosperity through their own efforts, fully stimulating the internal momentum of rural development.
