Continental Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 513) published its Environmental, Social and Governance report for the period from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025, marking the ninth release of its kind. The report highlights targeted initiatives for sustainable development, underlining reductions in direct greenhouse gas emissions of 5.85% and indirect emissions of 7.89% compared to the previous reporting period.

During the period, overall energy consumption decreased by 3.62%, reflecting ongoing efforts in optimizing energy efficiency and resource usage, such as gradually introducing electric vehicles and upgrading air conditioning systems. Water consumption in key operations also declined, while packaging material usage experienced a slight drop due to efficiency measures.

The Group recorded no major workplace accidents and did not report any lost days due to work-related injuries. More than 90% of its workforce participated in various training programs, reflecting a continued focus on professional development and occupational safety. Staff numbers stood at 443 across the primary Hong Kong and Jiangmen operations.

The report confirms no cases of legal non-compliance regarding environmental or social regulations and highlights a continued commitment to high product quality standards. Sales returns involving product quality remained minimal. Charitable contributions reached HK$195,000 under the Group’s broader community engagement.

Management reiterated strict internal controls related to anti-corruption, labor standards, and supply chain management. Cumulative metrics indicate that the policy of continual improvements in environmental practices and community support remains aligned with corporate goals of responsible and transparent growth.
