DexCom shares surged 5.98% in after-hours trading following the release of its second-quarter financial results, which handily beat analyst expectations and came with an improved full-year revenue forecast.

The glucose monitoring company reported adjusted earnings of $0.70 per share, surpassing the consensus estimate of $0.61, while revenue climbed 13% year-over-year to $1.31 billion, topping the $1.29 billion analysts had projected. Management also lifted its 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $5.18 billion to $5.25 billion, up from the prior midpoint, and raised its margin outlook, signaling confidence in sustained growth.

The results were driven by a 19% jump in international revenue and recent product innovations, including positive clinical trial data for its continuous glucose monitoring system in type 2 diabetes patients and the launch of a new AI-powered Stelo app. The strong performance and upbeat guidance fueled a sharp rally in the stock during the extended session.
