First Tractor’s 2025 ESG Report: R&D Rises to 5.08 % of Revenue, Scope-2 Emissions Cut by 22.9 %

First Tractor Company Limited (First Tractor) released its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance report, detailing operational, environmental and social performance for the year ended 31 December 2025.

Financial & Innovation Metrics • Revenue reached CNY 1,082,259.12 million, while R&D investment increased 6.39 % year on year to CNY 549.37 million, equal to 5.08 % of revenue (2024: 4.34 %). • R&D personnel accounted for 18.43 % of the workforce (2024: 16.24 %), underlining the group’s push into high-end, intelligent and green agricultural machinery.

Governance & Compliance • Independent directors represent 33.33 % of the nine-member board; female representation is 11.11 %. • Business-ethics training reached 3,928 employees, covering 56.03 % of all staff. No corruption cases were reported. • ISO 14001 (environment), ISO 45001 (health & safety) and ISO 50001 (energy) certifications were maintained across core subsidiaries.

Environmental Performance • Total energy consumption fell 11.16 % to 42,452.16 tce; clean energy usage rose 5.33 % to 5,659.73 tce, taking the clean-energy share to 13.33 %. • Scope 2 greenhouse-gas emissions dropped 22.88 % to 121,211.12 tCO₂e; combined Scope 1+2 intensity improved to 0.14 tCO₂e per CNY 10,000 of revenue. • Water consumption declined 15.65 % to 579,999.48 tonnes, with a reuse rate of 95.15 %. • Non-hazardous waste utilisation held at 100 %; hazardous-waste generation totalled 1,199.77 tonnes. • Eleven integrated pumping stations were completed, enabling zero discharge of industrial wastewater.

Workforce & Safety • Total headcount stood at 7,011; women represented 19.01 %. • Training investment reached CNY 10.27 million, delivering an average 31.51 hours per employee and 100 % coverage. • No fatalities occurred; three minor injuries were recorded. OHS training covered all employees and contractors.

Supply Chain & Community • First Tractor worked with 630 suppliers; 99 % are mainland-based and 100 % have signed integrity agreements. • Waste-sand regeneration at the casting unit achieved a 90 % reuse rate, processing 75,000 tonnes annually. • Rural-revitalisation programmes benefited 6,228 people (up 89.01 %) with spending of CNY 52 million.

Management confirmed the report on 26 March 2026 and emphasised continued focus on green intelligent manufacturing, stakeholder engagement and expansion of new-energy agricultural equipment.
