Torrential rains triggered by Typhoon Maysak have caused severe flooding in multiple regions of Guangxi in recent days. According to state media, a press conference on flood relief efforts was held in Nanning, Guangxi on July 7th, providing updates on the situation in Hengzhou City and Binyang County.

As of 11:00 AM on the 7th, four fatalities and eight missing persons have been reported in Hengzhou City. Statistics indicate 84,700 people were affected in Hengzhou, with 54,468 requiring evacuation; 53,808 have been urgently relocated, and the remaining 660 are being organized for evacuation in batches, expected to be completed today. In Binyang County, 8,606 people were affected, with all 8,150 requiring evacuation having been urgently relocated and settled.

In a collective response to the disaster, numerous companies and organizations have swiftly mobilized to provide emergency donations and support for disaster relief and recovery operations. The following is a summary of contributions from various entities:

Mixue Group has donated 10 million yuan through the China Rural Development Foundation and is also preparing relief supplies for the disaster area. The funds and materials will be used for emergency response, supporting the livelihoods of affected residents, and restoring local agricultural industries.

ANTA SPORTS has donated sportswear and footwear with a market value of 10 million yuan to the China Charity Federation. The supplies will be utilized to support relief work in the affected areas of Guangxi through a government-society collaborative supply mechanism initiated by the Ministry of Emergency Management.

Erke has partnered with the China Social Assistance Foundation to donate 8 million yuan worth of supplies for emergency assistance to the Guangxi disaster zone.

JD.com has urgently donated nearly 20,000 essential items including instant noodles, bottled water, raincoats, and umbrellas. These supplies are being transported to the disaster area via dedicated JD Logistics vehicles and personnel, contingent on safety conditions.

NetEase, through its charitable arm and NetEase Yanxuan, has allocated the first batch of 25,000 emergency relief items, including disinfectants, hygiene products, folding beds, and summer quilts, which have been dispatched to the frontline for local rescue operations, population relocation, and livelihood support.

MEITUAN has activated a disaster preparedness fund in collaboration with the One Foundation, providing 10,000 emergency food packs to relocation sites. The platform is also coordinating with partner merchants near the disaster area to supply hot meals. Alibaba has donated the first batch of 10,000 emergency lighting devices. Simultaneously, the Alibaba Public Welfare Platform and its "Goods for Good" merchants have partnered with the One Foundation to initiate a disaster response, with the first shipment of 2,500 emergency food packs already en route to the disaster area.

TENCENT has provided initial support comprising 500 family relief kits and 5,000 self-heating meal boxes.
