Douyin Reports Over 56% Sequential Surge in "Doubao Hotel Bookings" During Mid-Autumn and National Day Holiday

On October 8, a journalist learned from Douyin Life Services' "2026 Mid-Autumn and National Day Consumption Report" that offline consumption during the "double holiday" was robust, with Douyin group-buying order volume rising 53% year-on-year.

Among these, catering order volume grew more than 61% year-on-year, travel and hotel order volume rose 42% year-on-year, and hotel and guesthouse order volume increased by nearly 79% year-on-year.

Data shows that on the Doushengsheng app, average daily transactions for scenic area group-buying rose 142%.

The AI entry point became a new scenario for holiday consumption for the first time, driving travel spending. "Doubao Hotel Bookings" order volume grew more than 56% sequentially, with the highest order volumes in Chengdu, Beijing, and Xi'an.

The 66 Travel Card launched in 10 cities including Chongqing, Chengdu, and Hangzhou, driving hotel card check-in volume during the National Day holiday to increase by more than 84% sequentially.
