Meituan Travel: National Day Holiday First Day Reaches Travel Peak, Multiple 'Must-Stay List' Hotels Near Full Capacity

MEITUAN-W Travel data reveals that tickets for numerous scenic spots across various locations were sold out on the first day of National Day holiday. The top 10 most popular scenic areas were: Mount Tai Scenic Area, Beijing Universal Resort, Wansui Mountain Martial Arts City, Shanghai Disney Resort, Xi'an City Wall & Beilin Historical and Cultural Scenic Area, Laojun Mountain Scenic Area, Niushou Mountain Cultural Tourism Area, Chimelong Ocean Kingdom Zhuhai, Zhengzhou Yinji Animal Kingdom, and Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park. October 1st marked the peak travel day for the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday period.

MEITUAN-W Travel data indicates that tourists are staying significantly longer in the same cities during the holiday, with the number of visitors staying 7-8 days in the same city increasing by over 50% compared to the same period in 2024. From a destination perspective, cities including Chengdu, Beijing, Kunming, Xi'an, Chongqing, Guiyang, Changsha, Wuhan, Shanghai, and Qingdao ranked among the top nationwide for average tourist stay duration.

Multiple hotels on the 2025 "Must-Stay List," including Guangzhou Garden Hotel, were nearly at full capacity on the first day of the National Day holiday.
