CSE Global's stock fell 3.03% during intraday trading on Wednesday, reflecting a sharp negative reaction from investors.
The decline follows the resignation of lead independent director Tan Chian Khong from the board, effective June 2, 2026. The filing cited unresolved differences on working with controlling shareholders as the reason for his departure, raising immediate concerns about corporate governance and board stability.
Tan Chian Khong also stepped down from his roles as chair of the audit and risk committee and the nominating committee. The company's reconstituted nominating committee is now tasked with seeking candidates to fill the vacant lead independent director and committee chair positions.
