Laohekou City's Market Regulation Bureau in Hubei Province has recently advanced its initiative to integrate intellectual property (IP) services into local stations. This effort aims to shift IP services, supervision, and rights protection resources to the grassroots level, building a comprehensive and efficient service system that covers the entire region and supports the innovative development of business entities.
The integration of IP services into stations is a key measure to optimize the business environment and decentralize government services. By embedding IP protection stations into grassroots market regulation offices, the bureau moves service access points forward and lowers resource allocation to the ground level, addressing the issue of insufficient IP service coverage at the grassroots level. This allows business entities to access one-stop IP services right at their doorstep, effectively reducing the costs of rights protection and administrative procedures for enterprises.
To ensure the initiative's effectiveness, the bureau has established a dedicated working mechanism, led by bureau leadership for overall coordination, with multi-department collaboration and closed-loop progress. Experts from the Xiangyang City IP Service Association and IP staff were invited to work on the front lines, guiding the standardized construction of grassroots stations, improving work records, and optimizing service processes. They also visited enterprises to precisely identify IP development needs, promoted policies favorable to businesses, addressed rights protection challenges, and guided enterprises in standardizing IP management, effectively resolving various pain points faced by small and medium-sized enterprises in IP utilization and protection.
Looking ahead, the Laohekou City Market Regulation Bureau will continue to deepen the achievements of the "integration into stations" initiative. It plans to consolidate quality resources, strengthen grassroots service bases, optimize the entire IP service chain, and build a solid IP protection barrier. This will empower enterprise transformation and upgrading, contributing to the high-quality development of the city's IP sector.
