Huazhong In-Vehicle Holdings Company Limited has released its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report for the year ended 31 December 2025, detailing performance data, governance arrangements and medium-term environmental goals for its core subsidiary, Ningbo Huazhong Automotive Decorative Parts Technology, which generated 73.96% of group revenue.
Governance and compliance • The Board assumes ultimate responsibility for ESG matters, supported by an inter-departmental working team. • Reporting follows HKEX Appendix C2 principles of materiality, quantitative disclosure, balance and consistency. • No material breaches were recorded against key environmental or labour regulations, anti-corruption statutes or data-privacy laws during the period.
Environmental performance and targets • Total greenhouse-gas (GHG) emissions: 119,326.03 tCO₂e, with an intensity baseline of 4.62 tCO₂e per thousand production units. • Energy consumption: 525,502.47 MWh (0.53 million MWh), including 4,462.34 MWh from on-site solar generation. • Water usage: 88,819.97 m³, or 3.44 m³ per thousand units. • Hazardous waste: 15.48 t; non-hazardous waste: 778.86 t, of which 776.29 t (99.7%) was recycled. • Five-year targets (base year 2025): 2% cuts in GHG, energy and water intensities, and a 1% cut in non-hazardous waste intensity; progress tracking is under way. • Emissions controls include activated-carbon absorption and water-spray systems; IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 certifications remain in place.
Workforce and safety • Headcount rose to 812, with males representing 486 employees and females 326. • Overall staff turnover reached 38.18%; average training time was 5.46 hours per employee, totalling 6,126.48 hours. • No work-related fatalities were reported for a third consecutive year; one injury led to 30 lost workdays.
Supply-chain and product responsibility • Active supplier base expanded to 191 entities, 94% located in Mainland China; all must hold IATF 16949 certification and sign environmental and safety agreements. • No material product recalls or significant customer complaints occurred in 2025. • Intellectual-property safeguards include a patent management system and staff reward scheme; no infringement cases were recorded.
Community engagement and ethics • Donations totalled RMB 0.50 million to the Xiangshan County People’s Education Foundation. • The company maintained a zero-tolerance stance on corruption, reporting no bribery or fraud cases.
Huazhong In-Vehicle will continue to monitor climate-related risks, expand renewable-energy use and report annually on progress toward its newly established environmental-intensity targets.
