OUE's stock surged 3.74% during intraday trading on Friday, following the release of its Real Estate Investment Trust's annual report which showed positive financial results and strategic developments.
The annual report revealed that Distribution per Unit (DPU) rose 8.3% to 2.23 Singapore cents, supported by lower funding costs and ongoing leasing activity in its office properties. The company also completed capital management initiatives including refinancing for OUE Bayfront via a SGD 600 million green loan and the issuance of SGD 150 million in 7-year green notes.
Additionally, OUE REIT noted the completed acquisition of a 19.9% interest in Salesforce Tower in Sydney as part of its geographic diversification strategy, further strengthening its portfolio across Singapore assets spanning office, hospitality, and retail sectors.
