Mega Genomics Completes HK$0.62 Million On-Market Share Buyback, Treasury Shares Rise to 0.38% of Mandate

Hong Kong–listed Mega Genomics Limited repurchased 85,000 ordinary shares on 09 September 2026, according to its Next Day Disclosure Return filed with the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.

The shares were bought on-market at prices ranging from HK$7.055 to HK$7.29, for a volume-weighted average outlay of HK$615,575 (approximately HK$0.62 million). All repurchased shares are being retained as treasury stock; no cancellations were reported.

Capital structure adjustments: • Issued shares (excluding treasury shares) declined from 223.53 million to 223.45 million, reflecting a 0.038% reduction. • Treasury shares increased from 0.77 million to 0.85 million. • Total issued shares remained unchanged at 224.30 million.

Mandate utilisation: • The repurchase falls under the authority granted on 21 May 2026, which permits the company to buy back up to 22.43 million shares. • Cumulative buybacks under this mandate now total 853,000 shares, equating to 0.3803% of the issued share count on the mandate date. • In accordance with Main Board rules, Mega Genomics is restricted from issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 09 October 2026.

The company affirmed that the transaction complied with all applicable Hong Kong listing rules and regulatory requirements.
