AIA Group Ltd (01299) has issued an announcement stating that, in accordance with Article 142 of the Articles of Association of AIA Group Limited, any dividend that remains unclaimed for six years from the date it becomes payable may be forfeited in full by the company's directors and returned to the company.
The board of directors hereby notifies shareholders that the 2020 interim dividend of 35.00 Hong Kong cents per share, which was paid on September 24, 2020, and remains unclaimed as of October 30, 2026, will be forfeited and returned to the company.
