Prudential plc said it cancelled 403,165 ordinary shares on Jun, 26 2026 following a repurchase executed on Jun, 24 2026 at a volume-weighted average price of GBP 9.9288 per share. The cancellation reduced the company’s outstanding share count to 2,511,802,859.

The insurer also reported two further buybacks that are yet to be cancelled: 398,786 shares repurchased on Jun, 25 2026 at an average price of GBP 10.0794, and 399,603 shares repurchased on Jun, 26 2026 at an average price of GBP 10.0368. These transactions total 798,389 shares.

The Jun, 26 2026 purchase of 399,603 shares was conducted on the London Stock Exchange at prices ranging between GBP 9.984 and GBP 10.095, costing GBP 4.01 million in aggregate.

Under the current shareholder mandate dated May, 14 2025, Prudential is authorised to repurchase up to 262.67 million shares; the company has so far bought back 101.17 million shares, representing 3.88 per cent of its issued share capital at the time the mandate was granted. A moratorium on new share issues or treasury share disposals runs through Jul, 26 2026.
