Shangri-La Hotels (Malaysia) Berhad posts softer Q2 earnings, declares interim dividend

Shangri-La Hotels (Malaysia) Berhad reported second-quarter revenue of 112.983 million for the three months ended Jun, 30 2026, a 2.1% decline from the prior-year period. Profit before tax slid 40.4% to 4.185 million, while profit attributable to shareholders fell to 1.724 million from 4.335 million in the corresponding quarter of 2025.

For the six months to Jun, 30 2026, cumulative revenue rose 0.9% year on year to 250.871 million, and profit attributable to shareholders increased to 16.568 million from 15.864 million a year earlier.

The board declared a single-tier interim dividend of 0.03 per share. The shares will trade ex-dividend on Oct, 14 2026, with the record date set for Oct, 15 2026 and payment scheduled for Nov, 06 2026.

Net asset value per share stood at 1.77 at the end of the reporting period, compared with 1.80 at the close of the previous financial year.
