China New Town: Urbanization Fixed-Income Portfolio Hits RMB 3.05 Billion with 7.2% Contracted Yield

China New Town Development Company Limited reported that, as of 30 June 2026, its urbanization fixed-income investment portfolio stood at RMB 3.05 billion after deducting impairment provisions for risky projects. The portfolio carries a contractually guaranteed pre-tax return of approximately RMB 221 million, translating into an average annualized yield of about 7.2%.

During the second quarter, the Group expanded its portfolio by adding the Huzhou Wuxing Fixed-Income Project and the Yancheng Yandu Fixed-Income Project. Concurrently, it fully exited four positions—Wuxi High-tech Zone Industrial Park, Wuxi Xinwu District Canal Culture and Technology Industrial Park Construction, Liyang Economic Development Zone Aerodynamics Research Institute, and Yancheng Economic Development Zone Industrial Park Phase I—thereby recovering RMB 1.10 billion in principal along with all related guaranteed gains.

Management indicated that updates on the urbanization fixed-income investment business will continue to be disclosed on a quarterly basis through voluntary announcements.
